Department of Motor Behavior and Sport Management

The degree program in Motor Behavior, established in 2009, was promoted as an independent educational department in 2013. However, the program for Sport Management is not an independent department yet. That is why these two programs have formed one department. This department offers two degree programs at the M.S. and Ph.D levels. The aim of the Motor Behavior program, established in 2009, is to train experts in Motor Behavior capable of teaching, planning, implementing, supervising, and doing innovative research and action in academic and professional environments.

The program for Sport Management aims to train students knowledgeable of the principles and foundations of sport management, gaining deep awareness and practical skills for the strategic management of sport sectors. Graduates are expected to gain knowledge about the processes of sports management and sport industry and be able to analyze the problems in sports organizations and institutions and find solutions for them. Another aim of this program is to train and provide faculty members for universities, professional sport institutions, researchers, leaders and managers for sport organizations in Iran. More
