Department of Economics

Training outstanding experts in theoretical and applied economics is the main concern of our Doctoral program which was established in 2007. The graduates’ capabilities will help produce knowledge, educate specialists for training others and be able to take over academic and executive positions at the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and other universities, institutions of higher education, scientific and research institutions, and highly ranked governmental positions in the Khorasan Razavi Province. The graduates are also expected to be able to analyze problems, acknowledge issues and realize the reasons behind economic problems and issues and provide suitable solutions.
These programs mainly concentrate on: Business Economics, Pure Economics, Economic Development, and Economics of Energy.
